Jianfengling Ripe Nuggets
Small ripe pieces from Jianfengling - resin dark, sapwood gone.
Ripe, not living. These are pieces from trees that died on the mountain long ago: the soft sapwood rotted away and what stayed behind is the resin-soaked core, small, dense and irregular. Jianfengling is the old name for this kind of material, and there is no way to produce more of it - the trees that made it are gone. We grade by density, not by size: sinking, semi-sinking, floating. Every piece is different, so we quote by the actual weight of the piece you pick rather than publishing a fixed gram figure. Ask for photographs of specific pieces before you commit.
