Fusen Red Soil Incense

Laterite-buried wood, white sapwood gone, red resin core.

Fusen is the reference for red soil, and red soil is the reference for everything else. Wood lies in laterite clay for decades; the white sapwood rots away; what remains is a red, resin-saturated core with a sweetness that has no camphor edge and no smoke bite. This is the stick that experienced buyers reach for first, and the one by which they judge the rest of a catalogue.
